Hello, there are both diploma and BSc courses available in Anesthesia Technology. However, I recommend pursuing a BSc, as it is more highly regarded and preferred by most Ministry of Health (MOH) hospitals. Your salary will vary depending on the hospital where you work. In India, the pay is generally not very high, but if you're considering working abroad, the salary and benefits are excellent, especially in HMC, Qatar, and some MOH hospitals in Abu Dhabi. Hi, are you from India? In India, with an OT tech course, you might find opportunities in some small hospitals. However, you won't be able to secure an Anesthesia Technologist position abroad or in large hospitals within India. If you aim to work as an Anesthesia Technologist, you should pursue an Anesthesia Technology course. I recommend a BSc in Anesthesia Technology over a diploma. Some institutions combine AT and OT courses, but certain hospitals, particularly in Gulf countries like Qatar's HMC, only accept those who have completed dedicated AT courses. However, in the UAE, combined AT-OT courses are still accepted.
